Author ML Green attended Hampton University in beautiful Hampton, Virginia. Her first children's book “JR and the New York Pizza “ is a delightful story of acceptance and love as a curious raccoon, a fast flying generous eagle, and a sweet elegant cow embrace and nurture their unique and precious friendship; through their adventures, they discover the value of what it means to be a friend and to have a friend!! This engaging story was written several years ago after ML Green and her family stopped for lunch at a local pizza place during one of their family cross country summer vacations. After a few bites of the new pizza, her son exclaimed ,“This is not a New York pizza.” Back in the car and several miles later, the story was born. Later that evening as she tucked her son into bed, ML Green read him the story as her husband also listened. Her son enjoyed the story then and it still remains one of his favorite stories. ML Green recently published a short version of “JR and the New York Pizza” and “The Animal Festival Is Today," a fun story/coloring book for younger readers. When not writing, ML Green works in the criminal justice system; she lives in Eastern New York with her family. To buy her book, you can go to Amazon:

Author Laura Callan, a graduate of St. John's University in NY with a B.S. in Communication Arts, was inspired by her three grandchildren to write a book that would stimulate their minds and encourage them to explore the world around them. Laura's her debut book entitled, "Baking with Grandmas from Around the World," accomplishes her lifelong dream to write children's books that are both educational and fun. Her fondest memories growing up included time spent baking with her grandmothers; her cookbook will hopefully allow your family members to spend time jointly, as they share their traditions, stories, and of course, bake together. Baking with Grandmas from Around the World will also help children to read, follow instructions, to learn to use math and measurements, and most of all, to have patience. The reward at the end of all of the work is, of course, having a scrumptious baked product to share with your loved ones. Laura, a native of Queens, NY, now lives on Long Island with her husband and two Greyhounds.
